Fire is one of the most fascinating discoveries in human history. A subject I love photographing. It's unpredictable, ever changing. It's one of those things that when you stop time and look at in detail, it's an incredible sight. Around 12 pm on a warm summers night, we had a bonfire lit, for majority of the night it was half this size but something amazing happened in the heart of this fire, and it erupted up about three meters into the black nights sky. Fire is commonly orange, as this one was, but I was shooting in black and white, and I captured a perspective of fire that was something different.
